Clarins Sunkissed Summer Makeup Collection
Yes, it’s not quite summertime yet, but the summer beauty collections are landing on counters now. So, let’s start with the lovely Clarins Sunkissed collection.
There’s actually a lot to this collection this year, which as ever has a gorgeous compact at the heart. The Limited Edition Bronxing & Blush Compact (£30) is embossed with a sun inpired motif, and the lovely powder palette will warm your compelction with a blend of copper, terracotta and golden tones, as well as an apricot pearlesent blush.
Great for all skin tones, this loely power also contains the brand’s Anti-Pollution Complex, Light Optimizing Complex, and Plant Micropatch to maintain skins natural hydration. It will protect and add radiance to yout skin with one sweep. Lovely!
There’s new Limited Edition Waterproof Eyeshadow Shimmering Cream Colour (£18) in four shades – Golden Peach, Silver Taupe, Golden Saind, and Copper Brown. 
This lovely soft cream formula goes on easily, and fine pearl particles provide shimmering colour, and bitter orange tree wax helps to create a protective, filmogenic shield against water and humidity for that waterproof promise.
These are really lovely – great pigment and great hold, perfect for easy summer beauty.
There’s a new Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil (£19) shade – Red Berry. This lip oil is delicious, and nourishing, thanks to hazelnut, annatta and organic jojoba oils.
Two fab products in this collection are the Fix’ products. The Clarins Fix’ Make-up (£24) has been repackaged in a gorgeous Eau Dynamisante-style bottle, and I love it.
It’s an ultra-fine cooling mist which sets makeup by forming an invisible veil over the face. it’s hydrating and acts as an urban sheild.
It contains aloe vera, which contains compound sugars which encourage water retention – hence the hydration.
It smells delicious – with grapfruit extract and organic rose floral water. I can’t wait until the summer when I can use this!
Finally, the other Fix’ product – Clarins Double Fix’ Mascara (£20). A great idea, now an improved formula. Just apply over our fave mascara tro provide a transparent waterproof top coat. Or apply to brows to keep them tamed.
