ZAC POSEN for MAC
This is a MAC collaboration I really like- another one! There is something uber-chic about this collection, and if you are a MAC addict, then you need to get it in your life now!
New York designer Zac Posen, known for his timeless, yet dazzling designs, has collaborated with MAC on a collection that is stylish and simple, with brilliant pops of colour. It’s like a modern take on a retro trend – bright bold lips, and a slick of eyeliner.
The Fluidline Pen (£19.50) is Retro Black – an absolutely solid, flat black. The packaging is fabulously stylish – a flat matte grey. Prep + Prime Transparent Finish Powder (£22.50), Powder Blush Duo in Haute Contour (£25), and an Eyeshadow Palette x 6 – Eye Z You (£35) – are all held in fab grey matte compacts.
The colours in the Eye Palette are Cozy Grey, Phloof!, After Dusk, Performance Art, Palatable and Mauve Over, a mix of frost and pearl finishes, mostly pearl. There’s a Zoom Lash mascara in Zoomblack (£16.50), and two brushes – 182 Buffer (£38) and 168 Large Angle Contour (£30).
And then there are the three shades of Lipstick (£17), two of which I am in love with – Sheer Madness is a sheer nude lustre, and not for me, but Dangerously Red, a blue matte fuchsia, and Darling Clementine, a bright matte orange, are brilliant. Darling Clementine is my absolute favourite.
