MAC's Flamingo Park
This new collection from MAC is FABULOUS! This spring collection is all about gorgeous, punchy pinks, and it’s kitsch-tastic! The campaign images are so cute, evoking the collection’s sweetness.
The products are great – and there are loads of them! Where do we even begin. I included a couple on my pink post earlier this week, but here’s the full (pretty much!) rundown of the rest!
Let’s start with lips, and Lipsticks. There are nine shade, The Fashion Flock (a bright pink coral matte) is an online exclusive. The other colours are a mix of mattes, cremesheens, and pearls, all shades of pink, with fab names – Flocking Fabulous, Be Silly, Long Legged & Fabulous, and Have Your Cake, are just a few.
There are five bold Cremesheen Glass shades too – including Such Sweeties, a pastel baby ink, and Petite Indulgence, a bright blue pink. There are also three Lip Pencils in Chic Trick, Embrace Me and In Synch.
Eyes are lined with Technakohl Liners in Raisinette and Purple Dash.
For the face, choose from six Powder Blush Shades, with names like Life’s A Picnic, Spring Flock and Pink Swoon, and Oh, My!, and online exclusive, and two Beauty Powder shades – Pearl Blossom and Sunny Surprise.
MAC Pigments are brilliant – so much fun to play around with, and come in three new shades for this look – Rose, Golden Olive and Tan.
The Eyeshadow shades are all gorgeous pinks – Bird’s Eye View, Flock & Roll, Sushi Flower, Just Wing It, Corduroy, and Hello There.
The two Nail Lacquers are constrasting and gorgeous – bright Miami and soft, glittery, Spoonful of Sugar.
It’s a very girlie, sweet, childlike collection, but I do absolutely adore it.
