Lovely Lip Balms

1 min read

Lip balms aren’t really my friend. I really hate watching people jab their finger in a pot and swirl it over their lips, again, and again, and again. However, I do have to use lip balm from time to time, and particularly when the colder weather starts to kick in. No-one wants chapped lips.

But..I’m not stabbing my finger into a pot! Nope, this autumn I will be using one of the lovely new Couvent des Minimes Smile Lip Balms. These little tubes of balm are replenishing and softening. The creamy formula is enriched with 10% Shea butter to nourish, Apricot seed oil to make your lips more supple, and Marshmallow extract to soften.

The best bit about these lovely lip balms are the flavours. Choose from Orange Blossom, Citrus, Apple & Pear or Rose & Berries. These lovely scents, and the sheer finish will make you smile whenever you apply, hence their name!

The Smile Lip Balms pay tribute to the generous activities of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary who once inhabited the brand’s namesake Convent.

Today Le Couvent des Minimes still supports these selfless sisters and their continued charitable work by donating 1% of annual sales to their charities which to date has funded a day nursery and a school for nurses in Southern India.

Le Couvent des Minimes Smile Lip Balms, £5, are available now from Boots, and lescouventdesminimes.co.uk
