Kiko Milano Rebel Romantic Limited Edition collection

If you haven’t discovered Italian makeup brand, Kiko Milano, then you must! It’s a lovely brand, really luxurious-looking, and yet the prices are pretty budget.

Kiko has been around since 1997, and, having had family in Milan since 1992, I have seen it over there. But it wasn’t until the last few years that I had a good look, and try of it. And this new Limited Edition, Rebel Romantic collection is just lovely.

Kiko Milano Rebel Romantic Collection

Okay, the packaging is great, and the products are, well, they’re okay. I’m not going to day it’s the best makeup I have ever used, and I am probably not going to switch to their skincare, but there isn’t much wrong with them.Kiko Milano Palettes

This Rebel Romantic collection is all metallics, shimmer, rich reds, deep dark eyes, and lovely textures. The Rebel Bouncy Blush (£9.90) is a special hybrid texture that combines the ultra-fine texture of a powder, with the elasticity and softness of a new product.

You can use a brush or your fingers to apply this, it’s sort of like a sponge, and the pigment quality is good. It comes in four shades.

The Reckless Spirit Eyeshadow Palette (£12.90) has four colours of shadow in it, for wet or dry use, and comes in three colourways. The pigment pay-off isn’t bad, and each palette has a light, two medium, and a dark shade in it – all you need for a smoky eye. The packaging is lovely, with really pretty Art Deco style.

I love the Metallic Shine Eyeshadow (£9.90), which is a creamy, bouncy powder shadow, with a metallic effect. I used the deep blue shade, and whilst it’s not the best shadow I have ever used, it wasn’t bad, colour pay-off, but you do have to work it a bit, to get there.

The deep green Colour Definition Eyeliner and Kajal (£5.90) is really really creamy and easy to apply – love it!

For lips, look at the gorgeous engraved lipstick – and it’s good. The Intensely Lavish Lipstick (£6.90) comes in sixKiko Milano Rebel Romantic Lipstickshades, and is a fab price!

It contains extracts of corn oil and gotu kola, and orchid flower. Again, the packaging is lush.

There’s also the Intensely Lavish Lip Pencil (£4.90), which I have to say is not as creamy and soft as I wanted it to be.

It is long-lasting though – the colour is fierce! It comes in six shades.

Kiko isn’t that easy to find, unfortunately, but you can buy it from their website, kikocosmetics.com, or if you are in London, visit their flagship store.

Kiko Milano Rebel Romantic Collection is Limited Edition, and has been available since the end of August, so be quick!
