Estee Lauder's Little Black Liner
I told you Estee Lauder had a lot going on this Autumn/winter – and here’s another new makeup product I’ve been trying this week – Little Black Liner.
Lauder’s latest eye makeup product is the perfect companion to their Little Black Primer (which I am a huge fan of) – the Little Black Liner. You can use this liquid eyeliner to create the perfect line, three different ways. Choose from ultra-fine, thin, or thick. This dual-ended, waterproof eyeliner allows you to create the perfect line, whatever the mood is.
So, if you want Amy Winehouse-style big black 1960s inspired lines, then use the paddle applicator on the flat side – this will definitley gives you the thickest line you need. Be careful with this if you don’t want that big, bold look. If you want just a bit of a thinner look, then use the paddle applicator, but the thinner side of it, and you’ll get a classic, sophisticated, 1950s style line. It is a wee bit tricky to get this way right, but persevere, and you will master it, and the results are worth it.
If you just want a natural, close to the lashes, simple look, then use the pointed end to draw a thin line as close to those lashes as you can. You will get an ultra-fine, precise look.
If you are a liquid liner fan, like me, then give this a go. I am loyal to Clarins in terms of liquid liner love, but this could make me stray. I loved using it, and the big paddle end gives bold eyeliner drama when you need it!
Estee Lauder’s Little Black Liner, £22, will be available exclusively at Boots from August 17, and then from Estee Lauder counters nationwide, and esteelauder.co.uk, from August 31
