Fake Bake Beauty At Home

2 min read

Fake Bake isn’t just about tanning you know. The Scottish-based beauty brand has launched three new lines – in skincare, body treats and makeup – and a whole new home party shopping concept.

Let’s have a wee look at the products first, starting with the makeup collection, Scream & Pout. All the essentials you need are there from base products, to eyes, nails and lips. The nail polish goes on beautifully, and lasts really well. The lipsticks are rich and moisturising. I’m not sure why the foundation is called Special Affect…I’d have thought Special Effect made more sense, but maybe I am missing something? The core collection is available now and the summer colour collection is coming soon. Prices for the make up are from £9 to £20.

The new skincare line has all the products you need for your skincare routine. Skin D-Luxe has a lovely Dream Skin Cleansing Melt, which takes of all yourmakeup, and contains things like Tamanu Oil which promotes new skin tissue growth, Moringa Seed Oil, which is very nourishing, and Marula Pil, and antioxodant. It’s a rally nice product. There’s a moisturiser, a cleansing oil, an anti-ageing Fine Line Eraser, and a skin tonic too. Prices for the skincare are from £10 to £22.

Finally, in the Bath & Body line, Dolce Dreams, there are some delectable delights for pampering yourself, all in cute candy packaging. I love the Coconut Body Scrub and Lemon Meringue Body Whip. Yum! Prices for the bath and body range are £10 to £18.
