Clear Improvement with Origins

Origins launch a new body wash and body scrub duo next month that is totally unisex, but particularly great for men – just in time for Father’s Day, perhaps?

It’s not just on our faces that we get blemishes – environmental toxins, dirt, oil and debris can get trapped below skin’s surface and the blockage may breed bumps, breakouts and blemishes anywhere on our bodies.

So, Origins harnesses the power of Bamboo Charcoal to help draw out those pore-cloggers in the new Clear Improvement line body products, designed to purify and detoxify the skin below the chin.

The Bamboo Charcoal in Clear Improvement acts like a magnet to draw out pore clogging dirt, oil and impurities to clear pores and let skin ‘breathe’.

There are two products in this line – Detoxifying Body Scrub, and Purifying Body Wash. The scrub contains Dead Sea Salts and Organic Brown Sugar which exfoliate dead cells without being abrasive.

Dry skin and surface impurities are deodorised and dissolved,  while Wheat Germ, Soybean and Olive oils nourish and protect. It feels fresh, zingy and really cleansing to use.

Follow the scrub with the body wash. The spirited scent of Spearmint and Rosemary helps awaken your senses whilst the Bamboo Charcoal goes to work deep into your skin to draw out the nasties,  and removes dirt and debris.

So what is Bamboo charcoal? Well, it’s sourced from Japan, where it is known as ‘black diamond’. Its surface area is said to absorb more than 100 times its weight in impurities, due to its porous nature.

Other ingredients in these products include Clove, native to Indonesia, and sourced from and evergreen tree, and known for purifying properties; and Wintergreen, sourced from a shrubby evergreen plant that is native to North America, known for its skin-toning properties.
