Jo Malone Blue Skies & Blossoms

It’s spring – the clocks go forward at the weekend, and we can finally perhaps discard those thick opaque tights! It’s also time to change up our fragrance; ditch that heady winter scent for something lighter, and more spring-like. And Jo Malone’s Blue Skies & Blossoms collection is just perfect.

If the fragrances in this  – Sakura Cherry Blossom, Osmanthus Blossom, and Plum Blossom – seem familiar, that’s because they have been out before, and are now being brought back in this lovely little collection.

All three scents celebrate blossom, the messenger of spring, and these are three of Jo Malone London’s most loved. I absolutely loved Sakura Cherry Blossom, so cheered when I saw that one was back.  It’s a delicate, floral scent, blended with notes or rose and sparkling bergamot.

There are loads of cherry blossom trees lining the paths in my local park – I think that’s why I love it so much. It comes in a newly designed bottle with a cute little ribbon around its neck, a a coloured cap, as do the other two.

Exotic Osmanthus Blossom has a succulent peach note, layered with luminous petigrain. Finally, juicy yellow plum unfolds over a blooming plum blossom heart in Plum Blossom.
