Tom Ford Spring 2015 Colour Collection

Tom Ford is, of course, first and foremost, a fashion designer. So, his Spring Colour Collection in beauty has strong links to his SS15 clothes collection. Full of dark leathers, smoky dirty eyes on the models, messy grungey rock-chic hair, and dark, dark, dark shades, with hints of metallics, his Spring beauty collection comes as no surprise.

it’s dark. Very dark. No pastels or corals here. Think fierce, deep shades for eyes, dark nails, and then back tothe eyes. It’s all about the eyes this one, and at its heart are three new Eye Color Duos, using a new formula that perfectly captures pigments and light on the eye with flawless application. They feel lovely, and can be used dry for a sleek and soft finish, or wet for a bold and chromatic finish.

The three shades are Ripe Plum, Raw Jade, and Crushed Indigo. Each duo has a dark and light shade. The lighter shade is a high-colour pearl, and can be worn alone, or layered over the deep metallic shade for that  dark smoky eye look. They’re a gelle powder formula, and give fabulous intensity with little used.

There are two new shades of Tom Ford Mascara (£34) – Black Plum and Teal Intense. The big, full, dense brush allows for excellent application, and the formula is very creamy.

To complete this little mini Limited Edition collection, there are two new shades of Tom Ford Nail Lacquer (£26) – Black Jade and Indigo Night. Black Jade is a gorgeous black, with a hint of deep, dark green through it. Indigo  Night is a deep, rich midnight blue. You can also use Tom Ford classic nail shade, Bitter Bitch for this look.
