Boots No7 Christmas Makeup

3 min read

Three little parcels under my office tree  – all full of lovely Boots No7 makeup for the three Christmas looks the Boots brand have created this year. No7 have put together three quite different Christmas makeup looks, and invite you to create your look, and show it off on social media with the hashtag #TaDah.

In the blue parcel, it’s Evening Elegance, created with navy eyeshadows, high impact mascaras, deep blue nails, and radiant complexions. In the red parcel, Day-to-Night Chic with buildable products, to take your look from theoffice to the party with no hassle. Finally, in the gold parcel, Sensational Party Sparkle, gorgeous but subtle metallics, to give you a party glow.

I tried out the products from the Sensational Party Sparkle parcel  – because it is party season, after all! I began with a base of my own – quite a matte, reasonably full coverage base, to build my sparkle on to.

The first product I used from the parcel was the Radiant Spheres Highlighter (£12)  – a gorgeous powder palette of different colours of shimmery powder. I brushed it over my cheeks, and then, using my fingertips, applied a slick of individual colour to my cheekbones and underneath my eyebrows. This lovely powder gives off a lot of shimmery shine, for a little application.

I felt I needed a bit more blush, so I dipped into my red parcel and used the Coral Flush Natural Blush Tint Powder (£8) – brilliant blushers, great colour and long-lasting. On the eyes, I started with the Stay Perfect Shade and Define eye crayon (£8) in Precious – so easy to use, and easy to take with you and top up on your night out.

They are blendable, and buildable. I also used the Stay Perfect Metallic Eyes Pencil in Camouflage (£6.50) to line right round my eyes. This created an interesting green metallic edge to my eyes. My mascara is No7’s new Limited Edition Midnight Lash mascara (£10) for spectacular volume.

It is an intense black mascara, and really makes my lashes huge! Finally, the lips. Moving away from my comfort zone of bold lipstick, instead I applied High Shine gloss in Plum Blush (£9), a collagen boosting moisturising gloss that tastes lovely and gives a great neutral tint to the lips. Oh, yeah, and how can I forget the gorgeous Stay Perfect  Nail Polish (£7)?   This gorgeous shiny gold polish looks fab.

It’s a different look for me, but I enjoyed creating it. No7 products never let you down. I find them great value for money, and there is a huge range of colours, and formulas to choose from.
