Tom Ford Christmas Colour

Tom Ford has some new makeup on counter this month in his ‘Holiday Colour’ Collection. There aren’t many new products at all – just a few eye colours and lipsticks, but the overall effect is as stylish as you would expect from Tom!

The idea is to use these new products alongside existing Tom Ford products to create a gorgeous look. For Tom, there is nothing more dramatic than the perfect lip. So, the new Tom Ford Lip Colour Matte (£37) is a rich satin matte finish which comes in eight gorgeous new shades; sensuous nudes like Pink Tease and First Time, classic reds of Flame and Ruby Rush, a lovely mauve Pussycat, and sultry plums Plum Lush and Black Dahlia.

The texture of these matte lipsticks is lovely. I am a HUGE matte lipstick fan, but only too often they are drying on the lips. This didn’t happen with this one at all – I wore it all day at a wedding and my lips felt moisturised and the colour (bright red Ruby Rush) was just rich and gorgeous.

The Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes (£29) were first around the other year in this summer collection, which I loved. Now there are two new colours, Platinum and Spice, of this ultra-pigmented formula which gives a gorgeous shimmery look. They are easy to apply, they don’t crease that easily, and they don’t disappear the way some cream eyeshadows do. Use them with the fabulous Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen in Deeper (£42), to create a more dramatic eye.

Tom Ford Nail Lacquer (£26) in the deep plum shades of Viper and Bordeaux Lust perfectly coordinate with this collection. Treat yourself this festive season!
