Jo Malone Christmas Limited Edition Pomegranate Noir

Let’s talk Christmas, and in particular Jo Malone Christmas! There are so many fab goodies and services on offer at Jo Malone London this year, it’s hard to know where to start. But I will begin with the Limited Edition Pomegranate Noir Cologne.

One of the company’s best-loved fragrances, and so evocative of the season, Pomegranate Noir has been given a festive makeover in a delicately decorated bottle celebrating the frosted fantasy theme of Jo Malone London Christmas 2014. Swirling patterns of winter frost embellish the glass, juxtaposed with an opulent cherry-red cap and lovely red and white ribbon.

The bottle is available now, for a limited time, 100ml for £86. This year’s new fragrance is the delicious Frosted Cherry & Clove, and you can experience it in a gorgeous HUGE 600g candle (£120), or in one of this year’s lovely Scented Baubles (£32 – the other available is the classic Pine & Eucalyptus). It’s fruity and sweet, and heady and, well, just very festive!

There are two other Christmas gifts that stand out for me, at opposite ends of the price spectrum. Firstly, splashing out £125 will get you the fabulous House of Jo Malone which contains all the Jo Malone favourites – a perfect introduction to the brand, or for the classic Jo Malone fan. You get the following: Blackberry & Bay Cologne 30ml, Orange Blossom Body Creme, 50ml, Lime Basil & Mandarin Body & Hand Lotion 100ml, Pomegranate Noir Body & Hand Lotion 100ml, English Pear & Freesia small candle, Red Roses Bath Oil 30ml.

Then, if you don’t have the budget for that, or you want to buy a few as Secret Santas, or table gifts, then the Jo Malone Cracker is perfect. For £32 you get Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne 9ml, Blackberry & Bay Body & Hand Lotion 15ml and Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body Creme 15ml, all wrapped up like a cracker.

Jo Malone London are also offering lots of lovely ways to wrap their gorgeous gifts this year, with everything from glittery calligraphy, to engraving. Their master engraver will work in selected boutiques overrthe festive period to personalise presents with initials or messages. You can have whatever you like etched on to the lid of a candle or cologne, or etched into a glass bottle.

Boutiques will also be offering expert calligraphy, so you can pen a personal message onto the iconic Jo Malone boxes, or a Christmas card to accompany your gift. You can choose from classic black ink, or the fun glitter typography. As well as this, you will receive the lovely, opulent  Christmas wrapping -the bag fastened with a festive cluster of frosted cherries, and a red satin bow. Red satin ribbons on the boxes, which open tp reveal layers of rich red and white ‘winter frost’ swirled tissue paper.
