AERIN Lauder new fragrances and body lotions
AERIN Lauder have launched two new fragrances to add to their original line-up of six this Autumn, or Fall, as Aerin would say. The fabulously New York lady has created two lovely new scents, in her trademark stone capped bottles.
Iris Meadow embodies today’s modern busy life, and the desire to dream and escape, even just for a moment. Aerin thinks about a walk through New York’s Central Park when wearing this one. I imagine a walk in the countryside. It’s a lovely scent, with crisp green notes, lush florals and deep woods blending beautifully. Mandarin and blackcurrant mix with Iris, Egyptian jasmine and cedarwood. It’s lovey and fresh, with a vibrant depth.
Aerin Lauder worked in close partnership with Firmenich, one of the top fragrance houses in the world, to create the AERIN Fragrance Collection, the second new scent of which is Waterlily Sun. This one represents a quiet moment in a beautiful garden filled with flowers, lily ponds and sunshine that evoke tranquility. Not sure if I am getting that, as can’t say have been in manby of those gardens, but Aerin knows what she is talking about – it’s only inspired by her visit as a young girl to Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. Of course it is!
Bright Sicilian Bergamot and Lush Dewy Greens are the top notes here, a heart of Jasmine Sambac adds layers of depth and intensity, and it’s warmed in the dry down by sweetly inviting Musk. The effect is bright, dewy and fresh.
Aerin has also brought out a range of Body Creams to complement her fragrances in original fragrances Gardenia Rattan, Lilac path, Amber Musk, Evening Rose, and Ikat Jasmine. The rich body creams come in gorgeous packaging, like the fragrance boxes.
