BIOEFFECT Daytime moisturiser for Dry Skin

2 min read

Come the winter months  –  and they are coming – skin can get a lot drier, thanks to the weather and the use of central heating. I have dry skin anyway, so in the winter I am always layering on the moisturiser, and looking for anything with an extra moisturisation quality.

bioeffect daytime cream

So, I was thrilled to find the new formulation for dry skin of BIOEFFECT DAYTIME moisturiser. This is rich like absolutely nothing I have ever used before. It has an unbelievably thick texture, and it feels amazing. I can’t praise it highly enough. My only issue is that the tub isn’t going to be big enough to see me through the winter months.

This new formulation contains the same EGF cellular activator as other BIOEFFECT products – it’s been years since I encountered this Icelandic brand, back when they launched their serum in the UK in 2011.

EGF is an important part of the natural signaling processes that skin cells use to tell each other to maintain a healthy, youthful looking skin. Its discovery earned the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1986.

BIOEFFECT scientists discovery of how to replicate this important skin molecule in barley plants is another scientific breakthrough, which ensures EGF is of sufficient purity and quality to have a real, visual effect on the skin. As well as the barley made EGF, this cream contains a unique combination of skin conditioning ingredients including barley extract and shea butter.

It is rich and thick and luxurious, but it absorbs quickly and fully, making it an excellent base for your foundation. If you have normal skin and need to step up the moisturisation in the winter, then this is a good choice. For dry skin, it’s a miracle! Buy it now!

BIOEFFECT DAYTIME for dry skin, £55, will launch in October, selfridges.com and bioeffect.co.uk

I also exfoliate more, use masks more, and generally look after my skin in winter.
