Wedding prep week: Andrea

It’s very rare we have a 5pm wedding. So when our sales coordinator Andrea MacNaughton announced she was engaged to her long term love Martin, we couldn’t wait to share her excitement and hear about all the wedding prep.

Andrea and Martin have been together for thirteen years. When we asked her to tell us the story of how they met, she said it was a night out and the memories are pretty hazy (we think alcohol might have been involved).

At 5pm Health & Beauty, we were particularly excited about Andrea’s plans for her wedding hair and make up. Was she thinking hair up or down, smokey eye or red lip, natural or glam bride? There’s so many different wedding looks to choose from, you want to make sure you get it 100% right. After all, the photos will last forever and you want to look back with pride when you’re an old lady.

Three wedding looks

With this in mind, we asked three salons to give Andrea their own interpretations of her wedding look. They got to choose how they would do Andrea’s hair and make up on her big day and we would take the pics and post them on our blog. They would get free reign to do whatever they liked!
