Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum
The Smart Custom-Repair Serum a pretty interesting launch from Clinique – it’s a ‘one-size-fits-all’ serum, in effect. It delivers targeted repair as and where needed, and clinical tests have proven its performance. Apparently, after a 12-week study, results showed visible improvement in treating uneven skin tone, dark spots, dullness, lines and wrinkles and firming.
The breakthrough formula harnesses the power of 37 patents to deliver this custom repair. It’s taken Clinique five years to arrive at this point, creating a skincare product that will effectively assess your skin and treat what it needs to treat! Super-scientific, some might say!
It uses familiar ingredients though, with things like Licorice Extract and Caffeine to help optimise cellular efficiency and keep irritation at bay. Brightening comes from various plant extracts, including Morus Nigra root and Scutellaria Baicelensis Extract. Antioxidants used include Vitamin C, and glucosamine and salycilic acid are the exfoliators in this product, used to improve radiance, smoothness and luminosity.
Various collagen-boosting peptides will help with wrinkles, and repair enzymes help correct and repair UV damage. It also contains collagen boosting whey protein, and hyaluronic acid for maintaing the moisture levels in the skin, along with barley, wheat germ and cucumber extracts for hydration.
This serum is suitable for all skin types, ages and ethnicities, making it very different from much of the targeted skincare around today.
