Beauty Bargain of the Week - Tesco Calcot Manor Spa range

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

In yesterday’s Summer Beauty Must Have post, I mentioned a dry oil spray from the Calcot Manor Spa range at Tesco. Well, this is the rest of that range, and it’s really very lovely and inexpensive. It’s inspired by the philosophies of the luxury Calcot Manor Spa and it has three products, perfect for preparing your summer skin.

First up is the Lazy Evening Gentle Salt Scrub (£3.99) , which buffs the skin’s surface without harsh abrasion. As part of the 3-step routine, scoop into palms and gently massage the blend of natural sea salt and softening almond oil over the body before rinsing, twice a week. For a more intense treatment, apply to dry skin before stepping under the shower or into the bath.

The second step is hydration. Ensuring that skin stays hydrated will help the body to appear smooth, healthy and soft. Dry oils for the body are designed to lock in moisture after bathing or showering, leaving a subtle, satin glow to the skin, without being sticky or greasy, and helping to keep summer skin suitably quenched. So, the Lazy Evening Dry Oil Body Spray (£4.99), provides a light and softly-scented, hydrating veil for the body that is enriched with vitamin C and infused with patchouli. After showering or bathing, whilst skin is still slightly damp, spritz all over the body and lightly massage in, paying particular attention to especially dry areas.

Next up is the Lazy Evening Moisture Soufflé (£5.99) which is essentially a night cream for the body – most of us probably don’t moisturise our bodies in the evening, but we should, and certainly should if we have been out in the sun;  This is a nourishing, skin-soothing body cream with a lightly whipped texture that’s easily absorbed. Smooth this chamomile, sweet fig and vitamin E enriched soufflé all over the body and massage in a circular motion to stimulate circulation and aid absorption.
