Beauty Bargain of the Week - newly rebranded Pond's are now an Institute

1 min read

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

Pond’s  – loved by Kylie Minogue, don’t you know – are rebranding. They’re now the very posh Pond’s Institute, instead of plain old Pond’s. I am not sure what this means really to the brand which has been on the go for more than a century, and whose Cold Cream Cleanser (£4.07) is a cult classic beauty product.

Ponds Institute Rebrand

The retro fan in me wishes they would release a vintage edition, in old school packaging, but instead they are moving forward, eschewing the vintage trend, and celebrating their whole range of products. They don’t just do Cold Cream after all. They have Eye Contour Cream (£7.99), Hydro-Nourishing Cream (£4.07) for dry skin, Nourishing Anti-Wrinkle SPF15 cream (£4.07) for anti-ageing, and Triple Action Moisturiser (£5.10) for mature skin, to improve the appearance, restore vitality and help prevent and reduce pigmentation and age spots.

Pond’s Institute is one fo the best cheaper ranges you can get, and it is available all over the place! You’ll find it in Boots, at boots.com, in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda, Superdrug and Lloyds.
