Beauty Bargain - Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

This week’s Beauty Bargain is one of these things that we all probably think about using, but never do. And we should. Rimmel’s Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer is just £4.99 (boots.com, superdrug.com), and a handy little product to have. Makeup artists love primers. They’re the final layer before your makeup – facial primers are great for smoothing out the complexion before your foundation is applied, and eyeshadow primers do the same, and can also intensify colours.

It’s simple to use, you just apply to the lid, wait for it to dry, and then apply your shadow. It helps shadow to crease less on the eye, and gives it a smooth look. This one also says it makes eyeshadow waterproof. I haven’t tested that claim, but it is an easy addition to your makeup routine, so give it a go!
