Beauty Bargain of the Week - Movember nails!

2 min read

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

If your partner, husband, uncle, dad, grandad, son, whoever, is taking part in Movember this month, and growing himself a moustache, then why not join in the fun and get yourself some Mo-nails with some simple nail art! These are SO easy to do, and So cheap, that’s why they are my Beauty Bargain this week. I’ve explained how to with some steps below.

Before gathering everything together, paint your nails in your favourite colour or clear nail varnish. Oh, and buy the cute little moustache nail transfers. I got mine on Ebay for £1.79 for 40 transfers, with free postage! That should do the whole of November I think!

Okay, so here’s my step-by-step guide to how to get cool Movember nails!

1. Gather together your moustache transfers, nail scissors, a little bowl of water, top coat, tweezers and your instructions.Cut your transfers out.

2.Pick the transfer up with tweezers and hold in water for 30 seconds.

3. Slide the paper off the transfer – this is pretty simple, it slides easily.

4. Pick the transfer up with tweezers and place on the nail. Dab off any excess water with a tissue, but I didn’t need to. Press the transfer into place.

5. Paint a clear top coat over your transfer to seal it into place. I did two coats of Sally Hansen top coat, one of my favourite. The nail shade I am wearing is Illamasqua Nail Polish in DWS Cement Grey, £13.50. 6. Admire your work!
