Beauty Bargain - Along Came Betty

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

I love the name Betty. So retro,and who doesn’t have an Auntie Betty!? Tesco’s Along Came Betty range has been expanded and re-branded, and it’s cool, retro, 1050s inspired packaging makes it a favourite bargain range of mine. Okay, not everything is to my taste – but there are some pretty good products in there for great prices, and it makes great gifts for teenagers who love a bit of retro beauty, I think!

There’s an Along Came Betty BB Cream (£5.99) which comes in three shades, and gives sheer coverage, adds radiance to your complexion and has UV protection – not a bad price, and it’s a nice product.

The Skin Cleansing Kit – Porefectly Clean (£5.99) contains anti-oxidant cranberry, and includes a muslin cloth. it’s really good value for a cleanser, and is great for skin prone to oil retention and blemishes.

The bathing range has been revamped, and I love the Bath Soak – So Much Bubble (£3.99) with lemon balm and mallow, it bubbles up beautifully in the bath.
