Beauty Bargain - Nivea Facial Wipes

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

For years, long before I was a beauty writer and editor (and even in the first few years when I was!), I used to use a particular baby brand of wipes to take my makeup off. Quick and effective, but somewhat drying!

My old cat used to love eating them as well – she was addicted to beauty products, and we called her ‘Chemical Candy’! She would pull the used wipes out of bins and also try and lick my face and hands after I had used them. So, I stopped and progressed to proper, grown-up cleansers. And if you have read this blog or my own blog before, you will know I am a massive Emma Hardie Moringa Balm fan.

However, when I was given these new Nivea Pure & Natural Facial Cleansing Wipes to try recently, I had a look at them. They’re full of moisturising Argan Oil, which is a natural source of Vitamin E, so they’re not going to be as drying. They also have soothing Aloe Vera in them, and are free of parabens, silicones, colourants, mineral oils and alcohol. And, unlike some wipes, which take years to decompose, these are biodegradable, and will almost fully biodegrade in just 28 days!

They’re perfect for festival and camping season – easy to use, and won’t harm the skin, or upset your skincare routine. And, of course, they’re my Beauty Bargain, so the price, at just £3.05 a pack, is truly bargainous!
