Super Size Your Bronzer!

2 min read

Some of you may wear bronzer all year round, but for those of us who don’t, using it can strike fear into us, even if we are the biggest makeup junkies around.

This time of year, when the nights are getting longer, and the weather is (hopefully!) getting better, the palest of us want to bare our legs, and perhaps dabble in a bit of fake tan.

So, we figure we need to get used to applying a little bronzer as well.

I’m never quite sure of the ‘bronzer rules’, but I think I’ve found this year’s perfect bronzer at the Clarins counter  – and I am loving the super-size of it. Part of their Summer Collection, Mosaique, the Mosaique Summer Bronzing Compact SPF10 (£26), above, is a lovely big compact containing  a super-sheer multi-toned bronzing powder, pressed and embossed with a mosaic motif. It also has  just a hint of the notes of Clarins Eau Sunshine which means it smells of summer!

Because it’s super sheer, it’s easy to use – I found sweeping over it with a big brush and then lightly applying it all over was the best way to add just a hint of tint!

Clarins have also launched a new Color Quench Lip Balm (£15), right, in this range, in eight lovely shade of shimmering transparent lip colour – ad the cherry scent and flavour is delicious. This balm is nourishing to the lips, and perfect for  summer evening.

And finally, for summer, Clarins have also brought back their Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balm (£16.50), below, due to popular demand. This product was their speediest sell-out limited edition lip formula EVER!

It’s easy to see why. It’s almost too cool to use, looking like a sort of jelly lipstick!

But you have to use it because it offers it all – the shape and smooth application of the classic lipstick bullet, the transparency of a gloss, the subtle colour of a sheer lipstick and the comfort of a lip balm.

It’s available in the three most popular shades from the first time around – Clear, Red and Coral.

The whole collection is Limited Edition, available now, at Clarins counters, and clarins.com
