MAC Studio Waterweight Concealer and Powder

MAC launched their Studio Waterweight Foundation in 2015. I have to admit that I have never tried it. I've been a bit off the MAC radar in the last few years, to be honest, but three years after that launch, MAC are adding to the Waterweight collection with some new products. The Studio Waterweight Concealer (£18.50) and Studio Waterweight Powder/Pressed (£28) both launched at the start of this year, along with a new brush, the 106 Triangular … [Read more...]

Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer

Bobbi Brown's latest concealer hit counters this month - and the tagline is 'Better Than Sleep' I'm not sure about that, but it is good. According to Bobbi Brown, it's like 'eight hours of sleep in a swipe' and, after a few rough nights earlier this month, it did the trick. I'm not a massive concealer user every day, but when I feel I need it, I want one that works. One thing I will say about this, is that it is full coverage, so it … [Read more...]

Okay, non-touring is a pretty nonsense idea, but … [Read more...]

Conceal it! My Magnificent Seven concealers

I've become obsessed by concealer lately - I love it. I tend not to wear a lot of foundation - just a bit of tinted balm, perhaps, and concealer, here, there and everywhere, to hide blemishes, fade out fine lines, cover dark circles, and add a bit of illumination - although that's not technically concealing! I think it's a much underrated product and has come a long, long way from the plastic-y stuff in a tube I used to buy from Rimmel as a … [Read more...]
