I’ve mentioned the new Clarins Summer Collection in this sunny summer beauty post already, but I’m going to focus on the whole collection again because it’s so good.
It’s just three products, and the SOS Primer bronzer is recommended as well.
For lips, there is a Limited Edition Water Lip Stain (£19). Clarins created this product in 2018, a formula made up of 77 per cent water, rich in plant ingredients including organic raspberry water, and aloe vera extract. The colour is buildable and bold, but feels barely there.
The three shades available here are the original three, but ultra-sparkling version of them! Choose from Sparkling Rose Water, Sparkling Red Water, and Sparkling Violet Water.
The Limited Edition Waterproof Eye Pencil (£18) is a gorgeous blue, bright, summery shade – Blue Lily. A blue eyeliner looks fantastic with sunkissed skin. The tip self-sharpens when the lid is on, meaning you always have it ready to deliver a flawless pop of blue colour.
The Bronzing Compacts (£32) are always great, and I am lucky enough to have been gifted a few of them over the years. This summer, there are two new colour harmonies in warm and sunny tones to help to create the perfect, golden glow. Sunset Glow combines three subtle shades – the iridescent bronzers adds warmth, the highlighter gives that luminosity, and the iridescent pink blush helps sculpt cheekbones, and adds a pop of freshness.
Sunrise Glow uses multi-toned bronzers to sculpt and define. There is one matte bronzer, and two iridescent – light and dark – to sculpt facial contours, and can be used separately or together with one big sweep.
The powders are made with Light-Optimizing+ Complex that uses soft-focus pigments and pearls to help smooth complexion and revive skin’s natural radiance, and also contain the Clarins Anti-Pollution Complex, with extracts of white tea and nipplewort, and Micropatch Vegetal which forms a network on the skin’s surface to help prevent dehydration.
