Benefit has launched a Mattifying Powder in its Dr Feelgood range, for those who prefer a powder to a balm. The original Dr. Feelgood Mattifying Balm has been on counter for some years now, but mattifying balms can be tricky to work with, I’m told.
The new Dr. Feelgood Silky Mattifying Powder is much easier – it’s a loose powder that will minimize shine, set you makeup and control excess surface oil.
My skin tends to be on the dry side, if anything, so I have never had that much need for mattifying, so it is hard to review a product you don’t really need.
What I will say is the powder is a pale yellow, but it’s translucent, so invisible on skin, and it is extremely light. It gives you that extra matte look you are looking for, and it comes in cute packaging that offers easy application, thanks to the includes puff for easy touch-ups.
What would be super cool would be a mirror in the lid – take note, Benefit!
Dr.Feelgood Sily Mattifying Powder is £25, available from March, in Benefit locations, and at benefitcosmetics.co.uk
