NEW Clinique iD skincare system
Clinique has launched a new bespoke skincare system – Clinique iD.
I’m not sure how much of a fan I am of these skincare systems where you mix and match your own products – it’s all a bit schooldays chemistry and fiddly for me, but I can see the appeal to some.
This custom-blend hydration system means you can create a product specifically for your skin type AND skin concern. You can create 15 unique combinations with the products available.
The innovative, specially-developed packaging delivers the precise proportions in every pump – 90% hydration base, and 10%active cartridge concentrate.
The idea is simple – you choose your Hydration Base, and one of the five Active Cartridge Concentrates and create your very own Clinique iD Custom Hydrator.
The bases you can choose from are:
Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly – light, refreshing, water-weright texture, for all skin types
Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ – Clinique’s best-loved formula and texture. Works with Very Dry to Dry Combination Skin Types.
Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel – light, lotion-gel texture to balance and refresh oilier skin.
Then you choose your Active Cartridge Concentrate based on your primary skin concern. Each one has high levels of pure, concentrated active ingredients that target a specific concern.
Choose from:
Green – Irritation – calms and comforts
Blue – Pores & Uneven Texture – retexturises and illuminates
White – Uneven Skin Tone – evens tone and brightens
Orange – Fatigue – energises and revives glow
Purple – Lines & Wrinkles – smoothes line and re-plumps
You just inseert your cartridge into the hydration base of your choice, and voila – your very own custom-blend skincare.
I’m not sure what the active ingredients are – it doesn’t really say, but there are no parabens, no phthalates and no fragrance.
