Get Selfie-ready with Clarins this Spring

Clarins’ new spring collection – out this month – is all about getting #selfie-ready. I wouldn’t normally associate the Clarins customer with a selfie, but the brand is obviously trying to attract a different generation.

And they might just do it with this lovely little spring collection. I am a Clarins fanatic anyway – I love the brand – skincare, makeup, suncare, all of it!

These new products are lovely. The Limited Edition Ready In A Flash Eye Palette (£32) is adorable. It has a super-cute eye hologram on the top, which makes the palette wink at you!

Inside, you can illuminate and sculpt your eyes in three easy steps. The palette contains two eyebrow powders, two iridescent eyeshadows that double up as highlighters,and two matte eyeshadows which can also be used as eyeliner. It’s a lovely little treat for your new year makeup bag!

The Glow 2 Go Duo Stick (£26) mean you can contour, sculpt and highlight with just one twist. These double-ended, multi-use sticks are brilliant. Each of them contains a highloghter and a blush, and there are two shades to choose from. Harmony 1 will give you a holographic glow, with a duo-chrome finish, and a pink blush. Harmony 2 has a golden highlighter for a warm shimmer, and a golden peach blush for a sunkissed look.

Finally, Instant Poreless (£24). This is a pore-blurring, mattifying primer, to get you that camera-ready skin. It’s one shade adapts to all skin tones, and is a gel-cream formula that transforms into a powder, making pores appear less visible, as well as adding luminosity and freshness to your complexion. It does all this thanks to organic strawberry tree fruit extract,  whcih helps to absorb excess sebum, and soft focus powders which minimise those pores.
