Beauty Advent Calendars

I wrote a piece for the Daily Record last month on Beauty Advent Calendars. It was hard to choose just 12, as there are LOADS out there. I’ve now picked my favourite FIVE from those to share with you here. You can see the full article from the Daily Record at my own website – here.

These really are ridiculous – but they’re a lovely treat to yourself pre-Christmas, and if you have the money, then why not? They’re not all hugely expensive either  – the Boots No7 calendar is a reasonable £42.

BOOTS NO 7 ADVENT CALENDAR, £42

The Boots No7 Beauty Advent Calendar went on sale in October  with a waiting list of over 97,000! I find that crazy, but that’s what they say! This £42 box of products contains all your favourite No7 goodies, along with a voucher for a full-size Match Made Lipstick. The calendar is sold out online, but stores do still have stock, so check the site before you shop.

LOOKFANTASTIC ADVENT CALENDAR, £79

The luxury online beauty site has created a luxury calendar, of course. This one has lots of little drawers, and you will find a mix of luxury sample size and full size products in the 25 drawers. Each drawer is encased in a reusabe vanity unit. Cult brands featured include HD Brows, Emma Hardie, Caudalie, Filorga, Illamasqua, and loads more.

L’OCCITANE CLASSIC ADVENT CALENDAR, £49

I do love L’Occitane, and this is one of two advent calendars from them this year. The Luxury Calendar is £89, and has little drawers, but I really do like this one, which is a manageable £49, and jam-packed with goodies from the brand. You’ll find  mini bath and body products from L’Occitane’s most-loved ranges including Verbena and Cherry Blossom.

THE BODY SHOP 25 DAYS OF THE ENCHANTED DELUXE ADVENT CALENDAR, £65

The Body Shop has three winter woodland themed advent calendars this year, and they are just SO beautiful. This is the Deluxe Advent Calendar, which includes a full-size Body Butter as well as our makeup essentials in its 25 boxes. Each box is part of a 25-day challenge – there’s a fun task on each box. A donation from all purchases made at The Body Shop in November and December this year will be made to the Woodland Trust, and World Land Trust.

MARKS & SPENCER BEAUTY BOOK ADVENT CALENDAR, £35 (when you spend £35 or more on beauty, home, or clothing).

This advent calendar is sold out online, but there is still some stock left in stores. It’s not hard to see why, as it is a great bargain. It’s packed with lots of goodies from loads of brands. There are 25 boxes, and you’ll find products from Stila, Leighton Denny and Diego Dalla Palma to name a few. Be quick now if you haven’t got it yet!
