What a summer we’ve had this year so far – how long can it last? A little bit of rain is forecast as temperatures drop slightly in the next week or so (so the weather folks tell me!), so if you want to keep that tan you’ve achieved, maybe time to top it up with a little bit of fake.
It’s incredible to have a natural tan in Scotland, agreed? But if you need a bit more of a tan, then there are plenty of offers on 5pm Spa and Beauty.
I’m also intrigued by the latest Fake Bake tan – the DoubleShot Espresso – which launched last month. Already a best-seller in the states, this is their darkest tan yet, and is a fast-drying gel formula. Apply, leave it on for 4-6 hours, then wash off for the darkest tan yet. But use with caution! £24.95, fakebake.co.uk
At Sereno Hair + Beauty in Hamilton, they use Sienna X Spray Tan. A Full Body Spray is just £10 through 5pm Spa and Beauty.
At Elite Beauty + Hair in Rutherglen, on a Monday/Wednesday and Saturday, it’s also £10 for a Fake Bake Spray Tan, which has a 6-8 hour development time.
If you prefer a machine tanning you, then get along to the Body + Mind Salon in Milngavie for a VersaSpa Full Body Tan. Available all week, if you buy one, you get one free. There are three different prices for three different shades – Light £21, Medium £23, Dark £27.
This offer is great – save up your next one for when the weather goes back to a more Scottish style!
At Natural Beauty in Glasgow’s city centre, there are offers on different types of tan. A Half Body Spray Tan is £10. You get your Face and Arms & Chest, or Legs done. A Full Body spray tan is £16, or a Full Body Rapid Spray tan – a quicker drying time – is £18.
