Laura Mercier’s SS18 collection is inspired by the “soulful ambiance of the Cuban culture…Alive with energy, the music and clashing patterns of street art”

It’s all earthy matte bronzing shades, liquid illuminating pearls, and shimmering sheen for eyes (although there are no new eye products in this small collection) Lips are intense and vivid, echoing the vibrancy found in Cuban design.

MATTE BRONZING POWDER (£29) –  this matte bronzer delivers a natural-looking warmth to the skin. The silky, micro-fine powder feels weightless on skin, goes on smoothly and blends seamlessly to provide the ultimate sun-kissed glow.It comes in two shades – Soleil 1 and Soleil 2.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: To create a sun kissed look, concentrate application on high points first such as forehead, temporal bone, cheekbones and bridge of nose then apply remaining powder on brush to the rest of th e face. To increase intensity, repeat application.

LIQUID FACE ILLUMINATOR (£29) – this lightweight, ultra-blendable liquid illuminator contains iridescent particles that shimmer in the light, giving skin a healthy looking glow with a subtle pearlescent finish. Comes in two shades, Addiction and Seduction.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: Use alone as a highlighter, or mix with your favourite Laura Mercier face product for added radiance.

VELOUR EXTREME MATTE LIPSTICK (£22) – seductive, ultra-matte lipsticks which deliver intense single-stroke coverage and long-lasting, creamy comfort. Comes in three shades, Chicas, Havanna, and Amor.The models is wearing Amor, and I would love to try the pink, Havanna.
