Jo Malone White Lilac & Rhubarb Charity Candle

It’s that time of the year again, Jo Malone fans – a new charity candle is about to be launched. This year the candle is White Lilac & Rhubarb. The tart and vibrant rhubarb cuts through the delicate florals of soft lilac, sensual rose, and sun-loving heliotrope.

It’s meant to evoke that lovely scent of a summer garden in early bloom. I was out walking in the countryside yesterday and the floral smells were amazing. If you can, take more time to have a good old sniff when out and about at this time of year!

This year’s candle launch coincided with the opening of the seventh garden the brand has supported. The Courtyard Garden in Birmingham, with Martineau Gardens, is a community garden and charity with a focus on therapeutic horticulture – the use of plants and gardening to improve mental wellbeing.

For each Charity Home Candle sold in the UK, Jo Malone Limited will make a donation equal to 75 per cent of the retail price of £47 (less VAT) to support nine inspirational mental health charities. One if n four of us will be affected by mental health in our lifetime.

The charity candles are now available all year round enabling the brand to raise greater funds.
