Classic Beauty Salon Treatments
Inspired by Bobbi Brow’s #CantLiveWithout campaign, highlighting classic Bobbi products – we wrote about this on the blog this week – I decided to pick a few classic beauty salon treatments available on 5pm Spa & Beauty.
We’re all creatures of habit, and we all love to indulge ourselves with our favourite beauty salon treatments, from eyebrows, and lashes to Shellac nails, and massages.
Here’s a few of our faves on offer on 5pm at the moment.
1.BILLION DOLLAR BROWS
Who doesn’t get their brows done these days? Brows are essential, and you need the full works to make a brow statement. So, head to Brow Envy in Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road for this fab brow offer. The 45 minute treatment includes tint, wax and measuring of where your brows should start, arch, and end, using the brow buddy tool. It’s £25, and available Tuesday to Saturday.
2. BRAZILIAN WAX
Still hugely popular, this intimate waxing is a summer beauty fave. So, get along to Elmbank Therapies in Glasgow city centre, for a Brazilian for just £18, or a Hollywood for £19.
3. SHELLAC NAILS
The buzzword in nails in the last few years. You’re not getting your nails done if you’re not getting them Shellac-ed. In Miss Barton’s in Glasgow’s West End, it’s just £14.50, Thursday to Saturday, for Shellac fingers or toes. Or just get them both done for £27.50.
4. BACK, NECK, AND SHOULDER MASSAGE
The classic massage, the Back, Neck and Shoulder, or BNS. It’s brilliantly relaxing, just where you need it. Get rid of all the tension and knots. And you can do that in just 30 minutes at Salon Hero in Glasgow’s South Side for £15, or an hour for £25.
5. SPRAY TAN
Surely the biggest beauty trend of the last 20 years? Is there anyone who hasn’t had a spray tan? There are LOADS to chose from at 5pm Spa and Beauty. But I’ve picked the Full Body Spray Tan from Glow Skin Centre + Tanning Salon which is just £12. They use Australian Gold Premier or Ultra Dark Spray Tan, and you can get it done in your lunch break.
6. LUXURY FACIAL
There is nothing better from time to time for your skin, then a luxury facial from a good beauty brand. Dermalogica are an excellent spa brand, and Nevo salon in Edinburgh’s Leith offer a Luxury Dermalogica Facial for just £35, Monday to Wednesday. Take advantage of this offer, and treat yourself and your skin.
7. HOT STONE MASSAGE
Another beauty salon classic, a hot stone massage is relaxing and you can indulge in a full body or a back, neck and shoulders hot stone massage at the Beauty Boutique and Day Spa in Glasgow’s city centre. The 5pm offer is £30 for a 30 minute back neck and shoulders, and £50 for an hour full body.
8. LASHES
False lashes are a long way from sticky things you bought in the local Boots or Superdrug. There are loads of ways to extend your lashes now, from lash extensions to various types of strip lash. At the Art of Beauty salon in Scotstoun, you can get Express Classic Minx Eyelashes, Wednesday to Saturday for £20 with the 5pm Spa & Beauty offer. The salon also does Russian 3D, 4D, and 5D lash extensions, so look out for offers.
