Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2018
It’s most definitely summer when the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection lands on my desk. Yes, I know it’s not officially summer yet, but nothing makes me want to book a holiday more than a sniff of the gorgeous Bronze Goddess scents.
“Layer on sunlit shades, solar cool potions and ocean kissed mists wrapped in the ultimate sensual scent of summer – Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche for an enviable glow that radiates the passion of an everlasting summer,” says the brand of the new additions to the collection – and who are we to argue with that?
The collection is beautiful as ever, and split into two parts – Makeup and Fragrance.
The makeup collection has two new main components – the Limited Edition Illuminating Powder Gelée in Heat Wave (£38) and the Limited Edition Summer Look Palette (£45).
The Powder Gelée is a reintroduction of an iconic, cult favorite – Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Heatwave highlighting powder. Housed in a newly designed compact, this all-over highlighter is formulated using the unique prisma technology – a tri-brid of liquid, powder and gel, to deliver a smooth, even application of pearl with incredible luminous color projection.
The Summer Palette is a one-stop summer makeup musthave. It contains six gorgeous shadows in finishes from velvet mattes to soft luminous shimmers to enhance the eyes with shades of sultry sun-drenched neutrals with an accent of rich, summer teal. The palette also contains a universal face highlighter and a blush.
There’s also a Limited Edition Blooming Lip Balm (£24.50), which gives a hint of colour, and is formulated with nourishing tropical fruit oil blend. And, as ever, the Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer comes in Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Deep (£34)
The Fragrance collection has three new products – the Limited Edition Summer Waves Salt Spray for Hair (£34) is a gorgeous way to get the perfect beach waves to complete your summer look. The salt-infused fragrance protects hair from the drying effects of the sun with UV filters. Use on wet hair or dry.
I love the Cooling Body Spray (£34) – spray all over after a day at the beach for a cool, invigorating feeling, and your skin will feel recharged, refreshed and smell absolutely delicious!
The Limited Edition Cooling Body Gelée (£34) has a balm-like texture which transforms into a silky gel for an immediate cooling sensation with the help of Menthyl Lactate. Formulated with Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid, skin is immediately hydrated, feels soft, and is lightly scented with Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche fragrance.
The classic Bronze Goddess bits are back for summer 2018 too – Bronze Goddess Eau de Parfum (£58 50ml, £82 100ml), Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche SkinScent (£43 50ml, £61 100ml), Bronze Goddess Shimmering Oil Spray for Hair & Body (£38), Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Crème (£34).
