GlamGlow Waterburst Moisturiser

I am not a massive GlamGlow fan – the products are fun, and I love the concept. But whilst I’d use the face masks, because they are fun, I’m not completely convinced with the moisturisers.

However, I am going to give the latest a go, because it’s been created for dry skin, and that’s me! The new GLAMGLOW Waterburst Hydrated Glow Moisturiser is the brand’s new Korean skincare innovation.

It’s a weightless water cream, formulated with water form Jeju Island, a jewel in the South Sea of Korea and GlamGlow’s cutting-edge Moisture-Lock Technology to deliver 72-hours of instant and continuous hydration deep into your skin for a supple, hydrated glow – so say GlamGlow.

They also say that their “innovative sea-blue formula bursts into thirst-quenching water droplets upon contact before fully absorbing into the skin for a sexy, hydrated glow you can see and feel”.

And they continue:  Waterburst contains GlamGlow’s innovative Triple Hyaluronic Acid Complex with varying sizes of Hyaluronic Acid molecules powerful enough to absorb 1000x times their weight in water directly from the atmosphere and water sourced from the volcanic paradise of Jeju Island with its pristine crystal blue waters, towering volcano and mineral-rich soil.

So, okay, I am getting the idea that this stuff should be moisurising! It does feel nice when applied, but it’s too soon to tell whether I think it’s working for my skin. It’s a lovely aqua blue colour, and it does have a ridiculously sweet scent. Not sure I love that.

Apparently, Jeju Island is renowned for its unique ecosystem, and the sapphire seas surrounding it flow through basalatic rocks formed form molten lava, and become purified as they crash onto the white-sand shores. Who knew?!

Waterburst also contains GlamGlow’s Teaoxi Blue Nymph Lily Extract,  a rare flower blended into the formula to help plump, quench and replenish skin.

I shall persist with this for a few weeks and see how it goes.
