Buxom's Big Tease Mascara
BUXOM launch a new mascara next month – the Big Tease Mascara. It’s officially a plumping mascara – which means volumising in beauty speak.
Buxom say it’s their ‘most volumising, statement-making mascara yet’. That’s thanks to the brush and the formula.
The mascara brush is so important. In this mascara, the brush is a unique tapered, conical shape that has chisel-tipped bristles that grab and coat each and every lash from inner to outer corner, from base to tip. I think these tapered brushes work brilliantly, and this one is no exception.
The creamy-velvet formula blends three high- performance waxes together to create a buildable, long-wearing, and intensely glossy inky black finish. Buxom claim it is smudge-proof, clump-free and flake resistant. Don’t all mascara brands claim that?
I would say that this didn’t clump, didn’t overly flake, but there was an element of smudge – there always is with most mascaras.
I liked this mascara. It did give me longer and fuller lashes, it didn’t clump or flake, and there wasn’t much smudging. What else can you expect from a mascara, really?
