Spring in Capri with Bobbi Brown
Bobbi Brown launches its Spring collection in March- Spring in Capri. There’s a bit of a Southern Italy trend in beauty this Spring Summer – Chanel’s Neapolis collection is inspired by Naples.
The island of Capri sits in the Bay of Naples and this collection is inspired by the island, its classic Italian charm, sun-drenched coastlines, and hues of the Mediterranean sea.
In beauty terms, that’s gleaming skin, effortless lids defined by a dash of navy liner, and, of course, a pop of red lip with painted nails to match. This collection embodies the allure and sophistication of Capri.
As ever, this Bobbi collection has a palette at its heart. The Capri Eye Shadow Palette (£49.50) contains nine fantastic shades ranging from natural to rich navy in different finishes. There’s Cream Eye Shadow, Slate Eye Shadow, Maple Sugar, Pebble, Champagne Quartz, Caviar, Nude Glow, Oyster and Rich Navy. Mix and match to create a smokey eye, or just a wash of colour.
The Dual Ended Long-Wear Liquid Liner (£28) comes in two shades in this collection, and they are fantastic. This is a really great liner – it does not move, and the colours are great. Cioccolato/Frizzante is a gorgeous rich brown at one end, and a sparkly bronze at the other. Azzurro/Oro is a bright deep blue, and a gorgeous gold. I absolutely love this one.
The All Over Glow (£29) is a fab product. This will give you the gorgeous all-over-glow you need after a long winter! It’s comprised of 100% skin-compatible squalane, known for its exceptional moisturising properties, in combination with brightening pigments and pearls. So, it gives you that ever so cliched, but ever so covetable ‘lit-from-within’ glow.
Wear it alone, wear it over makeup, or just use it for touch-ups during the day for an instant pick-me-up.
The Nail Polish (£14) shade is a bold red, Pomodoro. There’s no new lipstick for this, but the boldest Bobbi red is perfect.
