Lips and Eyes from Sisley

Sisley are a luxury beauty brand, and although expensive, it’s nice to treat yourself – or a loved one – now and then. If you feel like doing so,  Sisley has two new products to choose from  – Sisley Phyto Khol Star Eyeliner Pencil (£36) and Sisley Phyto Lip Twist Matt (32.50).

The Sisley Phyto Khol liner comes in eight shades – five SparklingBrown, Bronze, Blue, Black, and Grey, and three Mystic Blue, Green, and Purple. The range is a reinvention of its 2006 line of khol pencils. These retractable liners are easy to use, self-sharpening, and the colours are bold and dramatic. The Sparkling shades are probably my favourite – the blue is lovely. The Mystic shades are almost black with subtle reflections. The liners are waterproof and great for the skin – thanks to natural active skincare ingredients – Rosehip oil, Bisabolol, and Vitamin E derivative.

The new Sisley Phyto Lip Twist Matt comes in four shades – Drama, Burgundy, Ruby and Ballet and the finish is on-trend matte. It’s unbelievably four years since Sisley’s first Phyto pencil, and in 2016 they launched their first matte versions. With the matte lip trend showing no sign of abating, Sisley launched four new matte shades this month. The finish is brilliantly matte, yet super soft on the lips. The colour impact in the Drama shade I tried was brilliant. It’s not my usual colour, but it looked great with just a couple of easy swipes. I’ve yet to try the Ballet shade I was also sent as a press sample. I’m jsut not a nude fan, so I may pass it over to another to try for me.
