CYO Cosmetics launches at Boots
There’s a new budget beauty brand in store – all the way from the USA. C.Y.O launched in Boots stores this month, and nothing in the collection is over £7.50!
Its budget beauty, aimed at teens and twentysomethings, but actually accessible for everyone, with products for everything, from loads of lip products, to brilliant palettes, bold eyeshadows, and lots of face products – 200 products in total to choose from. The hashtag is #MixLayerHack – the brand is all about creating your own look, your own style, and using the products exactly how YOU want to, not how you’ve been told.
Yeah, it’s cheap, but the products are good, and at this price, you can afford to try them out. I love the lip products – choose from Metallic Liquid Lipsticks (£6), Ombre Lipsticks (£5), Matte Lipsticks (£4), Plumping Lip Glosses (£5), High Shine Lipglosses (£5) and more.
Musthave items for me are the metallic eye colours – choose from Eyeshadow or fab Eye Sticks you can just sweep across your lids. The shadows and sticks are £4.50 each.
There are lots of face products, including two formulas of foundation for just £6, and £7.50. There’s a Dual-ended Contour Stick (£5.50) and a lovely Illuminating Mixing Cream (£6) that you can use in various ways to achieve a radiant glow. A Tailor Shade Concealer Palette (£6) has four shades that you can blend to get the best match.
Two bronzing products look interesting – the Bronzing Shimmer Oil (£7) and the Cool As a Coconut Cooling Bronzing Stick (£5.50) are perfect for adding a bit of spring glow and for taking on your holidays – I love any cooling product in the sun.
