Beauty masks are everywhere these days – so let’s trial one every other Friday from now on. From sheet masks, to clay masks, to cream masks, and everything inbetween.

ESTEE LAUDER ADVANCED NIGHT REPAIR CONCENTRATED RECOVERY POWERFOIL MASK,  ONE MASK £16.50, FOUR MASKS £60, EIGHT MASKS £105

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Powerfoil Mask

This mask was an Instagram sensation when it was launched in 2016. It won loads of awards, and probably helped sweep in the huge sheet mask trend that we’ve had for the last few years.

It comes in two parts for the top and bottom of the face, it has a shiny chrome finish on one side, and, yes, it’s very instagrammable. I look like some sort of cyberwoman, or gladitorial fighter!

But, more than that, it’s a great mask to use once a week to boost that nighttime skincare routine. The foil isn’t just for pictures – the foil-backed sheet mask creates a protective barrier, allowing all the goodness of the Advanced Night Repair (ANR) to penetrate fast and deep within skin’s surface and helping to lock in moisture.

Each mask contains Hyaluronic Acid, and delivers a surge of liquid revitalisation, immersing skin in a double dose of Advanced Night Repair Serum’s powerful moisture magnet.

It’s really easy to use – pop the bottom half on first, then the top, then leave for 10 minutes, and massage in any remaining liquid once the mask is removed.

I am an ANR fan. I’ve also used their mask in oil, their eye treatment, and this mask – all from the range. It really does revitalise your skin. I love a sheet mask as well, they’re simple to use, and easy to remove.  During the festive season, you need to treat your skin better, as we all eat more and get less sleep than we might normally.
