Bobbi Brown Caviar & Rubies Collection
It’s November, so it’s officially party season, and Bobbi Brown’s new Caviar & Rubies Collection is perfect for all your party makeup needs.
Firstly, the packaging is beautiful. Gorgeous ruby and gold toned compacts, housing pretty metallic and sparkly products.
And there’s a new matte in town – a Matte Black version of Long Wear Liquid Liner (£24). Is there no end to the matte love-in inthe beauty world?
But let’s focus on the centrepiece of the collection – the Caviar & Rubies Eye Shadow Palette (£55). Bobbi does palettes well, and this is no exception. It has nine shades inspired by rich jewel tones and burnished metallics – including Gilded, a new diamond dust eye shadow formula. It’s the sparkle at the heart of this palette.
The Limited Edition Highlighting Powder (£36) comes in a new shade, Moon Glow, which is glamorous and gold, and will give any party look a radiant glow. It also comes in a ruby compact.
The Limited Edition Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm, comes in a beautiful 200ml deluxe glass jar. The cream will give skin a ‘lit-from-within’ finish, and is infused with energising Lychee extract, and light-reflective pearls. This pot of delight will set you back £95 – which is a pretty hefty price tag, I have to say, but if you are a fan, it’s a gorgeous treat.
There’s one new Luxe Lip Color (£27) in this collection – Bare Pink, and classics Parisian Red and Red Velvet are the recommended reds to go for in this new moisturising, pigment-rich formula.
