NARS Steel The Show Fall 2017 Collection

I will only call this Fall 2017 because that’s what it says on the press release. But it’s Autumn/Winter, right? This is not the USA, and it rankles me, that US brands don’t change the terminology on their press documentation.

Rant over, here’s the lovely NARS Steel The Show FALL 2017 collection, which is out now. Metallics are clearly key this autumn, as lots of brands have dark metals at the heart of their collections.

Steel The Show has cool metallic tones in Dual-Intensity eyeshadows (£21) and Kohliner (£21). Titania Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow is a gorgeous metallic silver and Hydra is a shimmering deep green. I absolutely love these colours for autumn, right through to the party season.

The Kohliner comes in three shades  – Sorrento is a rust brown, Naxos is a shimmering blue stone (my favourite!), and Altiplano is a shimmering soft bronze.

Cheeks are also given a shot of sparkle with Blissful Blush (£21) in Shimmering Raspberry, which looks quite scary, but isn’t as deep a shade as you would think.

There are no lips in this collection, but there are plenty of new lip collections coming from NARS – will post on those later.
