Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer
Bobbi Brown’s latest concealer hit counters this month – and the tagline is ‘Better Than Sleep’ I’m not sure about that, but it is good.
According to Bobbi Brown, it’s like ‘eight hours of sleep in a swipe’ and, after a few rough nights earlier this month, it did the trick. I’m not a massive concealer user every day, but when I feel I need it, I want one that works.
One thing I will say about this, is that it is full coverage, so it does feel quite thick, so you really only need a little. And you work it. And by that, I mean, after applying with the doe foot applicator, under the eye, and right up to the lash line, you gently tap it with your finger to blend it into the skin.
I like to use a brush, or an applicator, and I tend to put foundation on and then concealer. Apparently this isn’t ideal though, according to Bobbi artist I spoke with! Put the concealer on and apply your foundation after – and not on top!
The concealer isn’t cakey, doesn’t sit in wrinkles, and although it is ‘thick’, it is light – if that makes sense?
The concentrated formula uses a unique Triple Matrix Technology to help deliver full coverage, in a lightweight way. It contains an infusion of Rare Indian Tree Extract and Palm Kernel Extract which help to instantly plump and smooth under the eyes and reduce signs of ageing.
You can also use it dotted in other areas of the face of course, again just make sure you blend it in. It comes in 15 skin-tine correct concealer shades. The shades are: Porcelain, Ivory, Warm Ivory, Sand, Cool Sand, Beige, Warm Beige, Natural, Natural Tan, Warm Natural, Honey, Warm Honey, Golden, Almond, Chestnut
