KIKO's Active Fluo limited collection

2 min read

KIKO Milano has launched another of their capsule collections created in collaboration with up-and-coming designers selected by Vogue Talents to celebrate their 20 year anniversary.

Active Fluoro – the third of seven collections  – is the work of Arthur Arthur Arbesser, a promising international fashion designer – and I LOVE it.

It’s bold and bright, and neon-tastic, and takes me right back to a year in the 1980s when I wore nothing but fluorescent jewellery!

Kiko Active Fluoro Collection

The collection design combines bold graphic motifs, patterns and colours with clean and minimalist shapes. .
In addition to designing the Active Fluo makeup product packaging, Arbesser has also designed a playful, summery pochette and a handy smartphone holder to take with you whilst playing sports.

I love combining graphic motifs, patterns, geometries and bold colours with clean, simple lines: all these
aspects are reflected in my collection for KIKO – Arthur Arbesser

And there’s the third charm for your bracelet, free with every three products purchased from the collection in-store.

The products include Active Fluo Primer (£10.90), a mattifying skin tone primer – the pink tone becomes sheer upon application, and ensures a matte finish.

The Neon Lip & Body Pencils (£5.90) are fab. These pencils, in three shades – stronger coral, powerful fuchsia, and vigorous blue – can be used wherever you want and they become fluorescent when exposed to UV light.

The Neon Nail Lacquer (£3.90) is a sheer top coat nail polish, which also becomes fluorescent in UV light, as does the Neon Lipstick (£6.90) which also comes in stronger coral, powerful fuchsia and vigorous blue.

There’s a black Neon Eye Pencil (£5.90) which, yep, becomes fluorescent in UV light!
