Inspired by the vibrant colour palette and energy of Cuban capital, Havana, Bobbi Brown’s latest collection, Havana Brights, is, well, bright!
Of course, there is a palette at the heart of it – more on that later, but there is also a brand new product in the Art Stick Liquid Lip (£21.50). I have yet to try one of these, and I am desperate to!
It’s a big chunky liquid lip, shaped like the original Art Stick, but containing full coverage, creamy, squeezable lip colour. It comes in three shades in this collection, the Havana Coral being Limited Edition, and the other two, Pink Punch and Papaya, permanent. It has a semi-matte finish.
There are three new shades of Art Stick (£21.50) here too – Sunset Orange, Electric Pink and Brown Berry. I do love Bobbi’s Art Sticks – big pencils that line and fill the lip with creamy long-lasting colour.
Back to the palette, and the packaging is fabulous. The Illuminating Cheek Palette (£35) comes in two shades – Peach and Guava – and include three powder formulas: Illuminating Bronzing Powder to reflect light, Blush to add a natural flush of colour, and Highlighter to give the complexion a ‘lit from within’ glow.
Use the Mini Face Blender Brush (£18.50), in a limited coral handle, to apply.
For eyes, try one of the six shades of the new Dual-Ended Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks (£28). Basically, they are the cult favourite shadow sticks, but with two ends, two shades that complement each other.
Darker end for shading, lighter end of highlighting. I love the look of Pink Sparkle/Heather Steel, and the other shades are Peach Mimosa/Taupe, Truffle/Bronze, Greige/Midnight, Nude Beach/Coffee Bean, and Dusty Mauve/Malted Pink.
The Bobbi Brown Havana Brights Collection is available nationwide, from March 9, at counters, and at bobbibrown.co.uk
