Stocking Fillers
Stocking Fillers! What are they? Little things? Or big things? Maybe your stocking will be filled with novelty treats, or maybe just one or two choice items, stocking filler-sized.
I’ve chosen a few of my favourite beauty stocking fillers, from the cheapest novelty items to a few more expensive pieces everyone would love to find in their stocking beside the obligatory clementine and coin.
Who said you can’t fit a candle in a stocking? This gorgeous Feel Good Candle in ginger, bergamot and clove from Origins (£28) fits perfectly! Inside the lovely box is a 100 % soy wax candle, with a 100% cotton wick, in a holder made from a recycled glass bottle.
Bare Minerals The Wish List Eyeshadow Palette (£39) has 12 lovely shades of shadow, and is a beauty fan’s dream stocking filler. The shades range from subtle champagnes and beiges to bold browns and are perfect for creating all sorts of beautiful looks.
A lipstick is the perfect stocking filler. Bobbi Brown’s Luxe Lipstick in Flame (£25) is the perfect festive shade of orange/coral red, without being too full on Christmas red.
Didn’t get your nails done in time for Christmas Day? Then this Eylure/House of Holland Ho Ho HO set of Deck The Halls false nails (£8.99, Boots) is exactly the stocking filler you will want to see. These super festive, super cute nails are bold, bright and fun.
Finally, we all love Percy Pig, and this cute little handcream is sticking filler perfection. (£4, Marks and Spencer)
I’m pretty sure you can fit this fab Too Faced Merry Kissmas Melted lip set (£22, Debenhams) in a stocking, right? It contains Melted in Chihuahu, and Fig, Melted Chocolate in Honey, and Melted Matte in Lady Balls.
Or how about Next’s fab Chubby Eye Collection Set (£20) – am sure we can get this in there too. It contains five eye crayons in lovely shimmery shades.
1.Marks and Spencer’s Limited Collection Hot Pink Nail Polish in a star bauble (£5) is a perfect stocking filler, tree or table gift. 2. Laura Ashley’s cute little manicure wallet (£12, Boots) is a very grown up stocking filler. 3. I love this Nails Inc Nail Candy kit, like a festive candy cane. It has four full size poishes in it – St James pillarbox red, Royal Ave red/gold glitter, Belsize Road rose gold/mint glitter and Grosvenor Crescent dark aubergine. All for £25.
4. Autograph @ M&S is where you will find this cute compact mirror (£10). 5. These Eyelure Luxe bauble lashes are mink effect (£9.95, Boots) 6. This is my kind of stocking filler – a gorgeous Limited Edition gold bottle of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (£72). Fits perfectly! 7. For football fans, this cute Match of the Day He Shoots, He Scores, Soap on a Rope (£5, but currently £2.50) from M&S works a treat. 8. Clarins’ Beauty Cupcake (£10) contains a 4ml Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, and a 3ml Lip Comfort Oil.
