Estee Lauder have added two new products to their Revitalizing Supreme + Global Anti Aging collection – a Cell Power Creme and a Wake Up Balm.
This range is all about anti-ageing, and the key ingredient in these new products is Moringa Extract. Not just any extract though – this is an exclusive extract of Moringa, which will support the skin’s natural Nrf2. Yes, that’s Nrf2. What the heck is that? Sell, it’s a protein naturally found in the skin that supports multiple anti-ageing pathways.
And, yes, you guessed it, this new Moringa Extract is the key to unlocking the skin’s potential through way of those pathways. It helps promote natural collagen as well – never a bad thing – and Pircky Pear Cacrus extract also nourishes and strengthens that all-important moisture barrier.
The Moringa is known as the ‘Tree of Life’ and is used in other beauty products. Lauder worked with plant biologist, Dr Ilya Raskin of Rutgers University in the USA to research the potential of the Moringa tree. Their extract comes from the seeds of the Moringa Oleifera species, which is exclusive to Lauder.
In short, there is a lot of science and research behind this product!
So, what do these products do?Well, in short, again, they are firming, nourishing and give your skin healthy radiance., thanks to that Moringa, the pricky Pear extract, and other ingredients such as vitamin E and glucosamine.
The lovely scent comes from a blend of mandarin, bergamot, tea rose, jasmine, violet, vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla. I do love the smell of this blend, which is the scent of the original Revitalizing Supreme.
You should use the new Cell Power Creme as a moisturiser, or an extra moisturiser, or a night-cream. The Wake Up Balm can be worn under your foundation, before or after your moisturiser, and will give you a fresh, radiant, glow.
It’s actually a lovely product for a skin pick-me-up, and if radiance is an issue, then both of these products will definitely help.
