Beauty Advent Calendars

6 min read

There was a time when there were just a few beauty advent calendars out there  – now? There are DOZENS of them. It’s actually almost impossible to collate them all. So, I have picked 15 for you to have a look at, with varying prices and designs. Bear with me, this is a LONG post!

First up is this year’s calendar from Arran (Arran Aromatics have rebranded and dropped the Aromatics). Their A Sense of Christmas advent calendar (£45, ARRAN shops, John Lewis, and arran.com), contains smaller size products from After The Rain and Seaweed & Sage, as well as others. There are also four candles. arran-advent-calendar-open

It’s  HUGE gatefold calendar, which will need a big space on your sideboard! It’s lovely, if not a little ‘meh’ – the products are fab, of course, but there aren’t any little extras and not that much imagination to it.

It’s a bargainous £14.99, but the daily sample gift are quite small  – all around 2.5ml or less. It features mainly serums from the much-lauded range., and every sixth day they say, has a luxury treatment.  Available at Aldi and aldi.co.uk

BareMinerals’ Countdown to Gorgeous Advent Calendar is another big gatefold number, and the design is simple. The products are fab. I like this one. It contains makeup, mini skincare, and a cute little extra gift in the last window. It has excellent eye and lip products. Available now, £75,  from Bareminerals boutiques – go get it in the Glasgow store.
