This is a bit different from Tom Ford – a sunshine-themed winter collection. For those of us who scoot off to the sun when the temperatures drop (not me, then!).Or for those of us who want to fake a sun-kissed glow in the winter months, perhaps?
Encased in the white packaging TF fans will know from previous summer collections, this collection is all about creating a warm, sunny look, whether you’re in the winter sunshine, or not, and is inspired by the Private Blend fragrance launched this year, Soleil Blanc.
So, let’s start with the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Dry Oil Spray (£45), which is a first for Tom Ford, and is just lovely. It contains Sweet Almond Oil, and is lightly fragranced with the Soleil Blanc Private Blend fragrance, of course.
Tom Ford Face Protect SPF50 (£54) is, say Tom Ford, an essential base for healthy-looking summer skin all year round. I am an advocate of wearing an SPF on my face, and this one is a luxurious as they get. Packed full of anti-oxidants, it’s lightweight and fast-absorbing. Use it here, or on your sunshine break.
The Eye and Cheek Palette (£98) comes in Cool and Warm, and each contains four Eye Shadows, a Highlighter and a Blush. If you covet beautiful palettes, then you might want to add this on to your wishlist, it is very beautiful.
The Lip Foil Lipsticks (£39) are interesting. Three-dimensional, ultra-fine mica reflects a mirror finish. There are six shades to choose from, from bronzed neutral, to shimmering peach and pink, to a sparkling plum. You can use them straight up, or you can layer them over other lip colours for a metallic finish.
Finally, this. The absolutely lovely Soleil Brush Kit. It comes in a white leather brush case, and houses four essential brushes from the collection – Cheek, Eye Shadow, Eye Shadow Contour and Brow Brush. I have no idea at this time of writing how much this is, but it’s going to be way out of my budget, I am positive of that. If anyone fancies treating me…!
